getting widgets on my home page
-
I created widgets for my home page, but they are all posted on my “about” page. How can I get them on my home page and off of my about page?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Blissful Blog doesn’t display the sidebar on the main posts page. You need to add your widgets to the footer areas, or select a different theme.

Widgets
Blissful Blog offers a sidebar template on single page, archive, and search views, and three footer widget areas on any page. You can assign widgets to each of these areas by going to Appearance -> Widgets. -
Just in case that did not get through to you note, there is no sidebar on the front page in the Blissful Blog theme because it is not designed to have one there.

Well aren’t you a peach. I still don’t understand all of this but I think I would rather change themes than have you help me!

I double checked the blissful blog theme and it shows widgets on the sidebar?!
We didn’t say it doesn’t show widgets on the sidebar, we said it doesn’t show the sidebar on the main posts page.

Thank you for your help, this is all very foreign to me and I am still trying to understand the lingo!
