getting wordpress to point to web site

    I have a website hosted at domain.com
    I want to get wordpress to make my site great.

    My questions ( not in the right order )
    1. since I own a web site and I want to use word press, I have to point wordpress to the website or do I have the website point to wordpress.

    2. Do I use wordpress.com or wordpress.org?

    3. I am not made of money so the best bang for my buck. If I start with wordpress.com can I grow into wordpress.org?

    4. My skill level with html is limited. On my website I want, these things:
    articles
    blogs
    videos
    links to soundcloud (my podcasts)
    art gallery from authors on my site.
    polls
    sign in page for email notifications
    links to most social media.
    so which would work wordpress.com or wordpress.org

    5.If domain.com isn’t a good place for my site which host would work well with wordpress?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
