getting yourselves linked to bing and yahoo

I’ve read on various posts that the best way to get people to see your blog is to attach the link to bing and yahoo (just to name two). I signed up for an account on bing and i already have one on yahoo. When I tried to get my sight added, for both websites it said that there was a problem with the feed. Is there a way to fix this?
(Btw if this is a really stupid question I apologize. Computers and I have had a very difficult relationship since they were called “wordprocessors” )

They are wrong. You feed validates perfectly.

Did you see this link on validation for Google, Bing and Yahoo?

Also, make sure you are giving them this link: http://skylarhope.wordpress.com/feed/
You might also have to try it without the trailing forward slash as follows: http://skylarhope.wordpress.com/feed . Yahoo is picky about that. Not sure about Bing.
