Getting youtube videos to show correctly.

    My blog is http://www.CarburetedEngine.com.

    I number my posts at the beginning of each post title. I am having problems with youtube videos showing as they should in two of my posts. These are posts number 90 as well as 15. They show as a link in the finished product and not as a video I can see with out it taking me to the youtube page.

    I’d like to get these to be visible with out leaving the blog and have tried taking them off the page and redoing them but can’t get them to work right, like all my others have.

    Help.

    Ok, I figured out the short code and it seems to work just fine.

    Its actually rather simple. Thank you.

    Hi there,

    Great, glad you found that! Even easier, you can save a step by just adding the YouTube URL into your post (all by itself) without the shortcode formatting, and the video will also be embedded automattically.

    So, for example, adding this:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a05Dqg8JicA

    is the same as adding this:

    [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a05Dqg8JicA]
