Ghost category call ‘648095’ – deletion reversed
-
My blog got a category I didn’t create, called ‘648095’. Attempt to delete this caegory seemed at first hand to be successful, but later this category reappeared without any obvious reason. Permanent deletion seems impossible. Does anyone here know how to delete such category without that appears later?

Is this the blog you are talking about http://skyggen.wordpress.com/ ?
If so, the problem is likely because you deleted the default category (uncategorized). Each post has to have at least one category assigned to it and the default category has to be set to one that actually exists in your blog. Go to settings > writing and set a default category and then you should be able to delete the numbered category and it will stay deleted. You can change the categories assigned to posts when you write them.

I’m sorry to bother you guys or anything. But I’m a newbie and I was wondering how I can delete a category. There is nothing in it, so it’s not like I’m going to loose anything. I just thought of a better name for it.
