ghost link to Amazon showing up in Visual edit & as black bar on top of page.

  My current post is turning up a link to Amazon that I did not put in there. I see it when I’m in the visual mode, but when I’m in text mode, there isn’t anything in the code related to Amazon. I was able to make some text changes in the text mode (couldn’t do it in Visual mode) but when I saved it, it’s now displaying a large black rectangular bar across the top of the page! How do I get rid of this thing? It’s the first thing everyone is seeing on our blog!

  I re-looked at the code for this post and realized there was a whole block of code at the bottom of the file that I never put in. I deleted it and the black bar/pseudo-Amazon link went away. So thankfully, the main problem has gone away — but I’d still like to know how that code got in the post in the first place.
