Right now that doesn’t seem visible on your first and only post on joannaoftheforest. However, by chance, did you type the post in Microsoft Word, and then copied it over to wordpress?
If so, this usually pastes a lot of unwanted code in, which will be visible. You can use the Paste from Word button, to paste cleanly into wordpress. Or type directly into the Posts -> Add New section, where you can save drafts.

Thanks. I did paste from Word and copied it. Then I figured out how to edit it out. I appreciate your suggestions!

Go to Settings->Writing and select “wordpress should correct invalidly nested XHTML.” That will prevent future posts from screwing things up that badly.
If you want to write offline, use Windows Live Writer. It doesn ‘t screw you up and it DOES allow you to format for your theme, add tags and categories and images.
