GIF in article doesn't work

  I’ve read a lot of threads about this subject, but I couldn’t fix the problem. I’ve a uploaded a gif (677×173) and resized it to 450×115. It shows fine in the editor, but not in the article.   You resized it. I can’t believe you didn’t read that when you resize a gif in the WP.com editor, it does not work. You have to resize it in a graphics program that conserves the animation, THEN upload it.

  Thanks. The instructions on several blogposts weren’t clear on that, so sorry for my question. Can you suggest a graphics program?

  I use GIMP, and I hate it. Adobe used to have a really nice beginner’s graphics program, but it doesn’t seem like they produce it any more. Sorry I can’t be more help.
