GIF in header not playing

    I added a GIF as a header image in the theme Motif, but when i upload it to the site it doesn’t play the GIF. what can i do to fix this?

    Hi there,

    Animated GIF images can’t be used as custom header images, due to how themes crop and display the image. You’re welcome to upload an animated GIF as a header, but the animation won’t be displayed — you’ll just get the static GIF image instead.
