gif@300 text images inserted>page not legible in 621×480
-
Hi..Scanned mag pages (text+images) in different resolutions (72, 300) in both jpg and gif inserted at full size 621×480 into “page” are illegible. Scanned pages were originally about 3300×2400 before I reduced them to largest allowable size in PhotoDeluxe. Since pp are images, not typing, I can’t change the font size and I don’t see any zoom feature for readers to magnify text size so’s it’s readable. How can I add these pps to my site–preferably as widget pps so’s easily accessible?. Don’t know what else to try…Maybe paste into page as media rather than as visual insert?Thanks for your help.

You can try uploading the original images (WordPress will reduce the file size for thumbnails) Or, how about creating PDF files using the original images and linking to it?

@marthaopdahl,
Maybe paste into page as media rather than as visual insert?Thanks for your help.You can try to use Embedit to embed large files (image, doc, pdf). The advantage of Embedit … while you choose an embeddable size for the embed, your readers have the option to view it full-screen and read the contents.
You can create a pdf/doc file containing the images and text you need and then embed it.
You can view full instructions and a working example here:

Why not upload a PNG for your smaller image, then upload the full-sized gif as the “link to” file?
