.gifs crash site – lead to reloading or aw shucks error

  • Unknown's avatar

I started using animated .gifs on my blog as a creative way to show the process/demo/how to’s for recipes. I’ve been getting a bunch of Aw Shucks errors when google crashes after any tab open to my site sits for too long. On Safari same deal, “page had to reload”.

So, someone suggested to me that it might be because of the gifs. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a fix other than deleting all the gifs?

    Thanks
