Girly Themes?

  Sadly I don’t like many of the themes and I’ve sampled them all. I even abandoned the three columns and tried two columns. Then someone complained they didn’t like the new look. I didn’t either. So I went back to what I still have now.

  I’m also looking for a 3 column “girly” theme with a customizable header and all the page templates that MistyLook has.

  I have read through the thread, and unfortunately all the themes I looked at either had no clear licensing, questionable licensing or sponsored links. Now that the theme.wordpress.net has had some clean up maybe you can take another look?

  I was checking out some of my friends themes and thought http://themes.wordpress.net/columns/2-columns/525/offbeat-112/ looked fresh compared to many of our themes, but it is missing custom headers. What do you think?

  Thanks for picking this up. The theme you suggest is not for me – no way – no how. No page templates for archive, links, etc. Narrow theme, cluttered, scrunched up look and mixed pastels – uh, uh. But that’s not to say, that it may not suit someone else.

  How can I use that themes site to look at the themes suggested here? I clicked a few links on the first page of replies, but most of them just redirect to the site’s front page, and the navigation sidebar seems to be broken.

  themes.wordpress.net is mostly nonfunctional at the moment while Matt overhauls it. There are various unofficial directories knocking around, and Googling the name of a theme usually turns up something.

  kimik0, that suggests it was probably removed because it was a sponsored theme.

  So far Sakura and the Butterfly theme are my favorites. When I initially set up my blog, I searched for templates and never came across either of these. I think I would have chosen differently.

  What that means is that none of the themes in this thread will be adapted to run on wordpress.com software.
