Giropay is not available to me as a payment method

    I would like to transfer my domain to WordPress. At checkout, the only payment method shown is credit card (I am located in Germany). As I don’t use a credit card, I would like to use Giropay as my payment method.

    Unfortunately, Paydirekt, the owner of Giropay, has decided to deprecate Giropay, which is why you cannot find it as a payment option.

    However, we offer several other convenient payment methods, such as PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. You can find more information on these payment methods in our Payment Methods documentation here: https://wordpress.com/support/payment/

    Additionally, you might be able to purchase a prepaid card from a bank, which you can use for your purchase.
