Give access to one of three blogs

  Hey there,
  I’ve got three blogs (@ the moment). The third has to be private. I want to invite two people to this one. The problem is, that they shall be only allowed to read, not to write and the much more important topic, once on the blog, they shall not be able to go via the dashboard to the other two blogs dashboards. One account, three blogs – what can I do?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Of course I checked these steps before. Problem was, that wordpress doesn’t rederect the new invited users to the blog after setting up the account. Since I figuered this out now here the steps for other people with the same problem.

  1. send an invitation
  2. (this was the missing information) let you tell what the (new) username of your friend is
  3. add user
  4. now the new user can enter your blog via url and login interface

  Ì know, people often think that inviting users is enough and that after they enroll into WP.com, they will automatically get access as viewers to the blog belonging to the user that invited them. It’s confusing enough for me already :-P
