give up blog name

  I have a blog name (quakerswilmingtonnc) under my wordpress account ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) that I wanted to use for a church blog. However, my Church has decided to open its own wordpress account etc and so I want to give up the blogname so that my Church can use it. How do I do that? Thanks so much, Artie

  To register a username account here one provides an email address and that email address becomes the unique identifier for the username account. Blogs belong to the person with the username account that registered the blog in question. There is a means of transferring that account to another username account. The owner of the blog (you) must add (the church username account) as an Admin of the blog and then follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account
