giveaways on non self-hosted sites?

  I’m sure this has been asked a million times but couldn’t find a straightforward answer. Are giveaways allowed on .wordpress.com blogs? I would be giving away tickets to an expo-type event.

  No paid content or sponsored content is allowed. If you purchase tickets out of your own wallet you are okay. Bu if they are sponsored tickets then the answer is no. http://en.support.wordpress.com/advertising/
