Giving a contributer acces to upload images

  I’m a contributor on a blog, but I don’t have access to upload photos. I don’t need access to the media library, but want to be able to upload images to the posts i write. Is there a way for the administrator to grant me access to upload images?

  The administrator would need to assign you at least an Author role.

  Alternatively, you could just host your images elsewhere, like Flickr.
