Giving everyone author access

  Hi – I would like to know if I can set one of my WordPress blogs so that anyone can publish a post (i.e. be an “author”) without me having to add them individually to a user list. Cheers Matt

  If you are talking about wordpress.com blogs, no you can’t.

  Sounds like you don’t want a blog at all: you want a wiki instead. You can try Wikispaces.com or mediawiki.com for free ones.

  I have a related question/problem:
  I have successfully gotten people to sign up for my blog and leave comments, but they are not listed on the user list. Why? Since they are contributors, shouldn’t they be listed on the User list?

  Can I make it so that anyone who posts a comment is automatically added to the User list?
