Giving my site to others to view

I have tried several ways to advise friends to view my site. I am not technology too bright. The message I have from this site is to copy and paste my url and send it to my friends. Tried that nine ways to Sunday, and it does not work. I know I am missing something here, but do not know what it is. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

I am copying 19may1979.wordpress.comWhen I try to Google that I get nothing to open my site. I am certain I missing something small here, and it is because I am new at this. It took me some time to learn to send out that link to my friends. If you could send me a sample to go by, I believe I could do it. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

Tell them it is http://19may1979.wordpress.com That makes it clickable.

Hi,
I don’t recall asking about email posting. My two questions were on the possibility of anyone reading my posts and having the ability to edit, delete, and have access to my account to make changes. The second question was not important since it related to the time of my postings that show as four hours later than the actual time of the posting.Thank you for the information on email posting. It is unlikely that I would try that at this stage of my learning about blogging.
