GLITCH!!!!!

    I am having some issues with my posts. I’ve written two random posts in the last two weeks that are not posting properly after I’ve saved them to post at a specific time. Most of the content is NOT saving and not posting, text and images both. Is there glitch in the system? It’s rather embarrassing when my readers see this and I’m not aware of it until it’s too late.

    Hi there,

    Could you give me the full URL of an example of one of your posts which isn’t posting correctly and is missing content? That way I could have a better idea of what exactly is going on with your posts.

    I’m sorry to not have gotten back with you, but I had deleted the “glitched” posts. Then it happened again this morning. I wrote a full post with about 10 pictures attached last night and set it up to publish this morning at 8am CST. I’ll leave this one up and just do a revised post so that you see it. If you’ll let me know when you’re done reviewing it I’d like to take it down. When it came up I was notified by a friend that there were only a few sentences and only a couple pictures. It obviously does not make any sense and my “signature ending” doesn’t appear. If you could let me know if this is something that I’m doing or something that needs fixed on the WordPress end I’d love it. Thank you so much!

    Heya,

    Thanks for giving me that additional information! I’ve gotten this issue in front of our developers and as soon as I have any additional information from them, I’ll let you know.

    In the mean time, I know it’s not your favorite, but would you mind keeping that extra post up so that they can take a look at it? I appreciate it!

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your patience! Our developers have been looking through your account and it doesn’t look like your scheduled post is having any additional content saved to it than what is being published (so in other words, our system is publishing what it thinks you have entered).

    When you are creating these posts which you are going to schedule for posting later, if you could please make sure you’re pressing the “Save Draft” button frequently and before you actually schedule it, click the “Preview” button to review it to make sure that the post appears as you’d expect.

    If you continue to have this strange experience, could you please take some screenshots for us? Screenshots can be a huge help in cases like these – once you’ve taken the screenshots, could you upload them to your Media Library. It would help to have a screenshot of a preview of your post looking just how you wanted it (please make sure to include the URL bar in your screenshot) and then also another one of the published post with the content missing (again, please make sure you include the URL bar!

    Hello, again. I seem to be having some more issues with the website. I posted a post last Friday. I had started a new post at the same time, saving it to later add pictures. Over the weekend I reopened the site and it’s not functioning or looking as it should. When i being up my post edit it brings it up in “text” format instead of visual. when I choose visual not all of my “buttons” appear for editing. When i try to add media I it won’t let me. After rebooting and deleting the post and trying a new post I’m not having any change. I can add media through the media library section, but when I try to add it to a post I can’t see anything. Can you help me with this problem?

    Heya!

    I just logged in to your account and I wasn’t able to replicate any of the issues which you reported. Have you tried pulling up your site in a different browser by any chance? Could you let me know if that works any better for you? Or barring that, could you try following the instructions here to clear your current browser’s cache to see if that’s the issue:

    If that doesn’t fix it we’ll see what else we can find that’s the issue!
