Glitch with display of URLs since yesterday evening

    Blogging at:

    http://dxrevisionwatch.com/

using theme “Truly Minimal” with the CSS upgrade.

Since yesterday, early evening, a glitch has appeared that is affecting the blog above which has the CSS upgrade.

This can also be reproduced on another WP blog running on the same template but without the CSS upgrade which has not been updated for months, so glitch not inherited from recent posts.

What I am seeing since last night is this: a forced line break is being inserted between text and the following URL.

This extraneous code for a forced line break does not display in the text editor in html mode but can be seen in the Source code on several browsers.

So instead of displaying the following as:

    Post #268 Shortlink: http://wp.me/pKrrB-3fA

in a continuous line, which is how it should be, I am now seeing this effect on all 260 odd posts, not just three posts published yesterday evening:

    Post #268 Shortlink:
    http://wp.me/pKrrB-3fA

and in some cases, as extra line space is being forced before a URL which starts at the beginning of line, without any text in front of it, again, with the forced break tags evident from Source code.

    Embedded links appear unaffected.

This would seem to be a WordPress problem. Has anyone else experienced this since last night?

    Howdy!

This was a bug that has been fixed — thanks for bringing it to our attention! Your links should display without the extra line breaks.

    Happy blogging!

Yes, am pleased to see all posts are displaying as they should be this morning. Many thanks for fixing and for a prompt response.
