Global Password limiting public access
-
I know I can set a password for each post. Is there a way to set a password for the entire blog so I do not have to choose private for each individual post? I went under “Settings” and “Privacy” but this did not allow me to set a global password limiting access of the public. It did seem to prevent the search engines form locating my website. I do not want to prevent my blog from being found by search engines.

The only option close to that would be to make your blog fully private via Settings -> Privacy in your Dashboard. You’ll then be able to invite specific “Viewers” to your blog.
