global 'plain text' email option

    May we please have a plain-text email option on username accounts?

    WordPress is sending out emails in this format:

    – RFC-compliant header (envelope)

    – Non-compliant null text message

    – HTML mail/’web page’ (attachment)

    Null (zero length) text sections in messages violate at least one RFC and trigger spam traps on the better-secured mail providers.

    If username accounts could make a ‘plain text’ email choice (for everything, no exceptions), it’d save a lot of hassle.
