Global tags and scheduled posts
-
When I schedule a post (by editing the timestamp to a future date) that post does not show up in the WP Global tags after their publication on my blog. For example, I have a couple of posts tagged “devotional” which do not show up with other blogs’ posts with the same tag.

I would understand them not linking to the global page until after they’re published, but surely once they’re there they should link up properly. You are using the tags on the posts themselves, right? The ones in your sidebar will only go to the posts in your blog on those topics.

I have a vague idea that this may have been broken for a while. Send a feedback on Monday.

Agree on the brokenness as I went through this with the webcomic. The post shows up right away with a funky date when you save it, not when it gets published.
Staff is aware of the issue and it’s on their list to get fix. Or at least it was the last time the subject came up.
A polite feedback reminder would probably be best.
If you edit your post and save it again, that will correct the timestamp within the tag system.

Hello everyone, My scheduled post recently appears on time, but all post have never appeared the targeted tags. They will appear on the targeted tag if I login my blog and edit each post, then re-save them. This method is waste time.

Scheduled posts have always been buggy. It is safe to guess that they always will be buggy. If this issue hasn’t been fixed after this length of time, it is probably unfixable.
But hey, at least you’ve found a workaround. It may not be convenient, but I’m afraid that if you’re blogging on a free host you can’t expect everything to work properly all the time.
