Gmail addresses with Domain?

  Hi ~ Trying to start wordpress and it says that i can transfer my domain, which seems the easiest. Right now the domain is with godaddy – talbotlawpc.com. But, our email addresses are through gmail. For example, my email is (email visible only to moderators and staff). In google, talbotlawpc.com is a ‘domain alias’ for our original domain ‘matthewbtalbot.com’. I just want to make sure that if I transfer the domain from godaddy to wordpress, it will not affect our emails through google.

  Hi @elizabethlaw999, google domains are supported here. You’d just want to ensure all of the settings are intact before making the final switch. So once you have your plan and the domain set up, contact us directly and we’ll make sure you’re taken care of.

  If you were paying GoDaddy for the Google domain, I believe Google would take over your account after that, but you might double check that too.
