Gmail notifying but not connecting to WP

  I have followed a blog for some weeks, but in the last couple of days Gmail is not connecting when I click in the email notification. Reply, Subscribe/Unsubscribe, or the blog title – none of them work. I’m taken to a blank page with a long, complicated http address.

  Hi there!

  Hmm… could you give us a bit more information so we know better what is going on? What is the blog that you are following? Are these notifications arriving as e-mails in your gmail account? When you click the link that has worked for you in the past what link is that?
  You can determine the link by right clicking and selecting the option for “copy link location” then you can paste that link anywhere. Please paste the link so we can see exactly where the link is leading.

  Sorry to ask so many questions, but this seems might be a challenge to solve and the more info we have the better we can help!

  Hi Jason, thanks for the quick reply!

  The thing seems to have sorted itself out, which is even more bizarre. I was receiving notifications (sorry, I don’t wish to name the blog publicly) as emails, same as your message came through just now; but when I’d click on Reply it would go to a blank page instead of loading. Same thing happened with YouTube links; they’d only work by right-clicking Open In New Tab.

  I’m going to guess it was Gmail being idiotic as usual. :/
