Go back

Can I go back to an earlier time? Something happened to my entire site. Could you go back to noon today, October 9, 2014? I was editing a page and it disappeared. Then, I noticed all of my sub categories were un-linked. It took me a lot of time to get as far as I did, so could you please help me get my site back? Thank you!!

Hi there,
It looks like several items were deleted from your menu within the past 24-48 hours. I also don’t see any posts on your site:

However, all of your categories should be here:
https://davidnaevesarasotafl.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=category
You should be able to add them back to your menu following the instructions here:
That would be much easier than restoring your site from a previous time. Can you give that a try?

Hello and thanks for your reply. I was having problems after I purchased a domain name, but things are working now (after lots of editing). I have changed things around and put them in their right places. I will take a look at the adding category pages page. I did lose the ability to roll over the upper menu tabs and have my sub-categories drop down. I noticed when my friend used his iPhone, that he had trouble with my drop down tabs. I was thinking that it was the theme I was using.
Thanks! -
I didn’t know it was that easy. Just drop and drag the sub-categories under the menu link to the right?! I’ve been using the FAQ pages, but that one I missed. Thanks again!!!!!

Howdy!
I noticed when my friend used his iPhone, that he had trouble with my drop down tabs.
It looks like this theme isn’t entirely mobile responsive, meaning it doesn’t scale down to smaller browser sizes perfectly. So, as a result, when the screen size is a certain width, we automatically replace it with a default WordPress.com mobile theme. You can read more about this here:

It looks like the submenus on Piano Black don’t work well on mobile, but the default mobile theme (which is active now) should work correctly. Can you give it another try?

Great!

Hello, yes, I found that and enabled mobile. Don’t have an iPhone myself, and don’t have an Android. But when I see my friend again, I’ll make sure it works. I use a mobile phone without Internet. Phone companies are getting too much as it is, and they are monopolizing on this mobile Internet feature (which I think is totally un-necessary). All I need is my MacBook Pro and I’m happy.
Thanks for your support, again! -
