Go daddy MX records
-
blog is on wordpress and thedomain and email are hosted with godaddy. I pointed the domain to wordpress so reinaweiner.com now points to the blog. Then her [edited by moderator]@reinaweiner.com email address stopped working so I got the mx records from godaddy:
MX Records
0 smtp.secureserver.net
10 mailstore1.secureserver.net…and added them to wordpress as:
MX 0 smtp.secureserver.net
MX 10 mailstore1.secureserver.netbut wordpress inverts to:
MX 10 mailstore1.secureserver.net
MX 0 smtp.secureserver.netWill it still work? It is still in “MX record validation mode” so I can’t tell if I’m stuck in this mode because the records are incorrect of if it’s still propagating. Any help would be appreciated!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m having this same issue as well, and GoDaddy’s website is completely unhelpful. Any luck getting the issue resolved?

@reinarocks,
I’ve hidden the actual email address in your post.Maybe this is resolved for Reina via support ticket, but for reference:
The records needs be entered following the format described in our custom DNS support page.
So in this case, the values need to be:
MX 0 smtp.secureserver.net.
MX 10 mailstore1.secureserver.net.Note the period at the end of each line.
