Go to wordpress.org with any host

  Hi! I was checking the store and saw that I can go to wordpress.org by paying for the premium plan and the guided transfer. The thing is that I still have to choose one of the hosts you recommend. What if I want to simply pay for my content’s transfer and being able to go to any host I want?

  I guess that’s possible, and if so, how much is it?

  Guided transfer only works with those specific hosts.

  You can, however, do the transferring yourself by following these instructions:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-to-wordpress-org

  And if you take that path, you can use any host you like.

  And if I do choose that path, it means my blog will look EXACTLY the same? I won’t loose any posts or pictures or any info??

  Yes and no. You can move all posts and images as described in the page I linked. But you will need to take some time to set up your theme and any custom CSS that you have used.
