Godaddy domain full transfer and future domain hosting at WP

    I have a new domain under godaddy and I’d like to start a new personal plan on WP. Can I transfer this godaddy domain fully and permanently under WP domain hosting? And will I receive SSL protection automatically to it?

    I might need to build my website (of this domain) on an ecommerce platform next year or so. So how does billing of domain hosting only goes after the first annual (48 eur) domain hosting + website ends? As after the first year, I’d would only use domain hosting/register via WP and website service elsewhere.

    Yes! You’ll have a change to do that when you set up your WordPress.com site initially and purchase a hosting plan. But there are also instructions here:

    Just to clarify, are you saying that after the first year, you would not have your website hosted here, you would only have the domain registered here? Or are you saying the opposite, that you would have your website hosted here, but would transfer the domain to another registrar?
