  We prepaid for an emailed address with GoDaddy. Is that going to be lost when we transfer or will we still have it.

  If you are deciding on transferring your domain over to WordPress.com and you have your email hosted somewhere else (GoDaddy in your case), you can connect that to the domain that will be hosted here with WordPress.com.

  Once you have initiated the transfer process and if you need help in connecting your email, you can seek help in the forums or through WordPress.com support.
