Godaddy email not working after Domain passage.
-
Good afternoon,
I have recently passed my 2 godaddy domains for my 2 wordpress blogs (http://www.pedromaia.com and http://www.almeidamaia.com). Both emails defined at goddady stopped working since. I have been reading some posts about this, but the info i get from godaddy is i need to input “priority0 smtp.secureserver.net” and “priority10 mailstore1.secureserver.net” at the DNS settings.
My doubt is that i see tha page for DNS settings, but i only see MX records examples, and i don’t know what to input so i can make the email accounts work.
Thanks in advance.

Hello, airodyssey!
Thanks for the tip, it DID help! One of the accounts is now working perfectly. The problem is the other one, now. When i send an email to ***@almeidamaia.com, i get a returned email:
Hi. This is the qmail-send program at *.pt.
I’m afraid I wasn’t able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I’ve given up. Sorry it didn’t work out.<***@almeidamaia.com>:
72.167.238.201 does not like recipient.
Remote host said: 550 #5.1.0 Address rejected ***@almeidamaia.com
Giving up on 72.167.238.201.Is this a problem i need to solve at goddady.com?
Thanks a lot for the help!

I think you do need to sort it out at godaddy.
It sounds to me like your ***@almeidamaia.com mailbox is not configured correctly on godaddy.com. The mail is being routed to the godaddy servers but they don’t recognise this server or user.

I’m still trying to find out what is happening.
Will post here, as soon as i get it solved.
