godaddy email stopped working

My client’s email has been down for a few days. She thought the problem was with godaddy, but they said it is a wordpress problem.

When I first went in and checked earlier today to see if the MX records had disappeared in her wordpress dashboard, she had the first two lines of the info below (just MX, no CNAME):
    MX 10 mailstore1.secureserver.net.
    MX 0 smtp.secureserver.net.
    CNAME email email.secureserver.net.
    CNAME mail pop.secureserver.net.

So I edited it (many hours ago — at least 6) to include the last two lines as well. But the email still isn’t working. Something has changed and caused a problem, and we aren’t sure what is going on.

One error message (that she got when trying to send to her @cathymartin.com email address) was:
Your mail message to the following address(es) could not be delivered. This
is a permanent error. Please verify the addresses and try again.

    amhufford,

If your client’s email was working at one time, has she made any changes to her DNS? And is she using webmail or using a third party program such as Outlook (or a phone) to pull in her email? The MX records and cNames look good. If you haven’t already and have the means, please reach out to our Support team. They’re available 24×7 and would be able to troubleshoot the issue from the account.

    Thank you,

We have shifted DNS back to godaddy, and are still having problems, so it looks like the trouble in on their end. Thanks for your help.
