GoDaddy Reseller Plug In

    Hi, I’m trying to set up a new WordPress site in conjunction with my new GoDaddy Reseller account. I’m trying to add the Go Daddy plug-in to the new WordPress site for FREE but can’t seem to do it. How do I install the plug in without having to pay $300.00?

    What is the URL of the site you’re working on?

    You’re posting in the support forums for the hosting provider, WordPress.com. If you’re working on a site hosted on our servers, and you want to use plugins, you’ll need our $300 a year Business Plan.

    If you’re setting up a site hosted at GoDaddy, that site has nothing at all to do with WordPress.com. In that case you’ll be using the open source WordPress software made by the community on WordPress.org. Please contact GoDaddy support directly for help with setting that up on your hosting account with them.

    There’s supposedly a way that GoDaddy gives its resellers the use of their plug in on WordPress…free…

    Not on WordPress.com. We’re a hosting provider, like GoDaddy, and not the same thing as the open source WordPress software.

    Using any plugin on WordPress.com is only possible if you upgrade to our Business Plan.
