GoFundMe embed

    Hello!
    I’d like to add an embedded link to my gofundme account in our charitys WordPress site – we’ve already started fundraising via this, so it’s really important for us that we are able to have this link up, and we’re not in a position to afford a Business account. Can you help?

    Hi @jasmohindru.

    Per the support page at GoFundMe, embedding their HTML widget code will only work on a WordPress.com site with a business plan, because of the html tags it uses.

    From the GoFundMe support page:

    Note: If you’re using the WordPress platform, this code will only work if you’re subscribed to their Business Plan. WordPress restricts the use of some HTML tags on their Free, Personal, and Premium Plans for security purposes. You can read more about WordPress code here.
