Going back to a WordPress-domain? How please?
-
Hey,
due to financial trouble I decided to go back to a WordPress-domain, which is free. So rather than belgianfilmfreak.com my blog is now belgianfilmfreak.wordpress.com
However … ALL my links of movies stored alphabetically in my upper bar are still registered with the original, paid domain – so they don’t work anymore!! :O
(e.g.: if you click on the ‘J’ and click on Jurassic Park, you don’t get my review of Jurassic Park – because that one is still stored under belgianfilmfreak.wordpress.com and not belgianfilmfreak.com-domain)IN SHORT: how do I change ALL my broken links back to my wordpress-domain, please?
MANY THANKS!
Bye for now
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you allow a domain to expire or remove domain mapping the content is still available under the .wordpress.com URL however there’s a but and it’s a HUGE one. Every link to the domain URLs no matter where it appears in search engines and on the internet as well as every internal link to your earlier content will be broken. When clicked they will all produce 404 (page not found) errors.
All authority the domain URLs earned that contributed to the site’s pagerank will be gone. In essence removing domain mapping means you are throwing that away and the blog begins from zero. Thereafter you will be hard pressed to publish enough content rapidly to drive the search results to the broken links down in the SERPs (search engined page results).
And as subscriber subscribe to a specific URL if remove it they are no longer subscribed. You have to get them all to subscribe again to the underlying .wordpress.COM URL.
That is a nutshell is why I tell all my clients not to muck about with domains. Either you are into blogging for the long haul and will continually renew the domain or you aren’t, and if you allow it to expire or remove domain mapping then your site suffers the consequences.
Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.

Hi,
I tried to reach you on an earlier thread but so far I got no response,
so I’m crashing on this different topic and maybe to catch your attention. Or maybe just give me a straight answer if my problem
cannot be resolved, that way there will be no reason for me to contact wordpress for this very frustrating problem.
I saw some threads where this same thing was answered but so far
not for me, again please help.I made our company website using Weebly and need to point my domain to their servers. Can you set this up or walk me through the process of making these changes? I need to change my A-Records for both “www” and my root domain. That’s one record for http://www.latrimandrugs.com pointing to 199.34.228.59. And one record for latrimandrugs.com also pointing to 199.34.228.59.
If you need more info on these changes, please see:
http://kb.weebly.com/domain-registrar.html
Note that I want to keep using you as my domain registrar. I am not requesting a transfer and do not have new name servers to provide you.
Thanks!

@jivucol
When you hijack threads you disrespect the original poster who gets spammed with your off topic posting in his or her email.Worse still if an when the thread you hijack is tagged for Staff support then posting into it means you send it to the very end of the queue for Staff, because your off-topic posting moved the date stamp and time stamp forward in time. That means the original poster has to wait longer for a reply.
Bottom line: When you hijack threads and disrespect the policy here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/wordpresscom-forums-community-standards?replies=1 the only attention you get results in what follows and then a long delay.
Do not post here in this thread again.
You have posted into multiple threads https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/jivucol and now need to return to https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/domaine-16?replies=3#post-2353692 and wait your turn like everyone else does.
