Going back to free domain

  Hello !

  I have been used a paid domain name for the past year, but I would like to go back to a “wordpress.com” domain name (so a free blog) for 2022.

  Is it possible to do that without losing all of my articles and all the Jetpack stats ?

  Hi Claire, what was the old site address, and did you migrate hosting as well, so that the site files and data were hosted elsewhere?

  If so, you’ll need to move those back first. I’d recommend this process:
  https://transferto.wordpress.com/self-hosted-wordpress-org/

  We can get your stats and subscribers back, no problem. Just want to be sure the articles arrive properly!

  And lastly, if possible I’d recommend adding connecting domain here for at least a few months, but selecting your .wordpress.com address or .blog subdomain as the primary address. That will give search engines a little time to update their links, too.

  I can’t see a Jetpack connection on http://www.tigrisleonum.com/ – is this site still active?

  It would need to be in order to carry out that action.

  I still have access to the Jetpack on my phone, I can still see every stats & followers there… But no, the site isn’t active anymore :/

  Can I maybe send you the screenshots ?
