Going back to WP Theme’s custom background
-
Hello,
I tried changing the background by using one of my own pictures by clicking:
Dashboard > Appearance > Background and uploading a new background image. It looked stupid, so I wanted to change it back to the theme’s background I am currently using (Dark Wood by Nischal Maniar). But now the background has completely disappeared to just a plain brown color instead of the “wood panelling” look and I can’t get it back. Under the “Custom Background” header it just says “There is currently no background image.”
I’ve tried searching the forums and even google and can’t find anything to help me, so I apologize if this has been posted before.
Could anyone help? Thanks!

The same thing happened in my test blog when I tried this as well. However, unlike you I prefer the plain dark brown color better than I liked the dark wood background.
Please report this to Staff using this link http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
For a temporary fix all you need to do is locate a free background image in a dark wood pattern that tiles and upload it. Search results for “free tiling background image dark wood” http://tinyurl.com/y6wrank

The option to revert to the original was in the Custom Header section, which has been removed (because the custom header didn’t work correctly).
This is the original bg image:

Copy it to your computer and upload it. -

THANK YOU! I copied the image and set it as custom background and it works. Thanks again!
