Hi emaho17, I just upgraded mine last week to a premium theme and didn’t encounter any problems. If I am not wrong, the way your blog appears in the Customize panel (when you preview the theme) should be the way it will be after you purchase the premium theme.

If you mean your Posts and Pages, they should transfer without any problem. If you are using a Custom Menu on your theme, you may need to redefine it as the primary menu.
Widgets seem to be the most “volatile”, but if you “lose” any during the transition, you should be able to find them again under the “Inactive widgets” section of your Dashboard or in the Customizer and you’ll just need to re-add them into the correct position.
As @missmiscellany said, previewing and arranging in the Customizer is the way to go.
If you are have any questions about that or need some additional help, please post back here.

I had upgraded to 13MB storage and have reached the maximum. I thought I could delete posts and photos to make space (as I did many times in the past) but even though I removed at least 10 pages and lots of photos, the storage space remains full. What’s the deal?
