Going from free to premium plan- will I need to update my Domain/DNS?

I currently have two upgrades with the Free wordpress plan – No Ads, and Domain mapping/custom site url. I’m about to upgrade to the premium wordpress account plan. Since both my existing upgrades are included in the premium plan, I would like to assume I will no longer subscribe to those upgrades individually/pay for them. I plan to unsubscribe from both while still keeping their benefits (as included in the premium plan.) When I upgrade plans, will I need to update my DNS records to keep things running smoothly? Thanks!

If you are talking about buying the Premium bundle for the same site where you already have the No Ads and Domain/Mapping upgrades, you should see a pro-rated amount for the bundle since you already have those other upgrades. Have a look at https://wordpress.com/plans/ and pick your site
Since you already have the domain/mapping in place, you shouldn’t need to change anything.

Yes, that’s what I’m trying to do, but unfortunately I don’t see a pro-rated bundle.So long as after I upgrade to premium for $99, I won’t be charged the additional $13 and $30 for my upgrades, I’ll be happy.

Hi @lucyschultzphotography, we don’t often run into a case where someone has two upgrades and is moving to Premium. I’ve disabled ads for the moment using another method. Can you go ahead and try buying Premium now? Let me know when that’s done and I’ll make sure your mapping is tied into it properly.
