Going from Premium to Free
-
I am considering upgrading my blog to a premium blog, but if I eventually feel cheap or lose interest, can I revert back to a free blog without losing my content?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Your content will be safe –
The only effect is that if you have a custom domain name, search engines will have your site indexed with that name and if the name goes away – the indexing also goes away and it will take some time (a few months probably) for search engines get used to the free original name – you will need to make sure that you make a few new Posts after the custom domain name goes away to tell search engines that you have moved

Yes you can do that. The result will be broken links to the domain URLs. The CSS editing will be gone and so will the No-Ads upgrade. I don’t recommend doing it. If you are not committed then try the 14 day trail.
You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard to access the Store.
If you go to the following link, you will see buttons for “Try Now” or “Buy now” next to the Premium upgrade at the top.

We will send you an email reminder one day before you will be charged.

Allow a domain name to expire or remove domain mapping http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2012/01/30/omg-my-domain-name-expired/What happens if I remove Custom Design?
All upgrades on WordPress.com are renewed yearly. Should you choose to cancel your subscription, your custom fonts, colors, and CSS will no longer be applied to your blog. The revisions for your customizations will still be saved, but they won’t be visible on the blog’s front end unless you renew your subscription. http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/#frequently-asked-questions -
Hi @TT – morning morning –
I forgot to mention the broken links from other sites & friends – how bad depends a bit on what your blog is about and what you use it for – how popular etc.
