going live with a new template
-
I have a .com domain. I just changed the theme to my site. When I go to the .com domain it still shows my old site and theme, it does show the new site at the wordpress.com domain. How can I get it switched over to the .com domain
-
Can you check what is your primary domain and set your .com as primary domain if it is not already.
Here is how to set a primary domain: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/#setting-the-primary-domain
Give it a try and let me know how it goes.

Thanks, When I go to my domain tab, it shows my primary domain as .wordpress.com, and doesn’t show the the .com address that I have mapped. If I open a separate browser and enter the .com address my old site will come up with none of the new changes that I have made.
If I go to my word press and try to map my .com domain that I already have it says the site is already mapped to a wordpress account.
-
I now have the wordpress.com site redirected to the .com domain, it shows my primary domain as the .com address, when I go to the .com site, it still shows the old page with none of my new edits.

Nameservers Validated!
Congratulations! The nameservers appear to be set up correctly for paradisepooltexas.com.
More Information
Primary Blog is Setparadisepooltexas.com is set as the primary domain for paradisepool.wordpress.com and will appear in the address bar when you visit the site.
http://paradisepooltexas.com/ – loads fine for me – it looks like you have things set up correctly
note: there is no “www” in any URL here
You will also always work in the base blog https://paradisepool.wordpress.com when adding content
it looks like http://paradisepoolstexas.wordpress.com/ – is an extra blog that you have set up a redirect to http://paradisepooltexas.com
one suggestion – the opening image is very large and slow loading – should be optimized for the web (down to 200k or so) speed up load time for visitors

Thank you. The issue that i am having is i have changed themes, added pages etc. It says published back when i made the changes, but when i go to the sites it still shows the old theme.
-
Where did you change the theme at? remember you have two blogs being sent and mapped to the same end blog – so if you change the theme at /paradisepoolstexas.wordpress.com/ – you will not see any changes since that is a domain forward
any changes need to be done on /paradisepool.wordpress.com foor them to be seen at /paradisepooltexas.com/

I really appreciate your help,
I thought that is where I made the changes at the paradisepoolstexas.wordpress.com I am just lost, when I log in to paradisepoolstexas.wordpress.com I see the pages that I created in my dashboard. In that same dashboard if I go to blogs, I only see one blog which is the page that shows if you were to go to paradisepooltexas.com or paradisepoolstexas.wordpress.com(which is just redirecting to the paradisepooltexas.com.
So the theme on the only blog that is listed in my dashboard is “stay” and the theme I was adding my new pages to is the “Radcliff”.
So in that Dashboard if I click on Appearance, then background, it is loading up how I want my site to look.So you say I have two blogs being sent to one end blog, I am just not understanding where the other blog is and how to edit it. I feel like I am just missing some small step that I am not understanding.
-
the link below should go to the correct blog for the changes to show up for the public
https://paradisepool.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php
So you say I have two blogs being sent to one end blog,
yes
a common problem people sometimes have is they have two accounts – is there another account you might have used?
I have also flagged this for the staff to help – they can look at the accounts for each blog – I can’t
-
paradisepooltexas.com is the custom domain for paradisepool.wordpress.com. paradisepoolstexas.wordpress.com has a site redirect upgrade that points any traffic going to paradisepoolstexas.wordpress.com on to paradisepooltexas.com/paradisepool.wordpress.com. Because of that, nothing you do on paradisepoolstexas.wordpress.com will appear on paradisepooltexas.com. you need to be building your posts/pages on paradisepool.wordpress.com.
Does that make sense?
-
The other issue is that the WordPress.com user account that you are posting from is not the owner or admin of paradisepool.wordpress.com.
So you must have ended up with a second WordPress.com account at some point. You will need to log into the other account in order to access the paradisepool.wordpress.com dashboard.
