  Can you tell us which email provider you are using? Also, have you updated your DNS entries (MX and CNAME entries) so that mail for your domain is handled by your email provider?

  Have a look at this page https://en.support.wordpress.com/add-email/

  These days you’ll also want to set up SPF and DKIM records in your DNS or mail you send may get rejected as spam.
