going to bluehost and need to move my domain

  wildwestdomains is the registrar but I purchased it through wordpress, do i need to transfer the domain to bluehost or can i just change the domain DNS? is it worth paying for the guided transfer?

  You do not need to transfer your domain to BlueHost, though you can if you would prefer the convenience of having both your host and your domain provider with one company. If you’d like to transfer, here is a help document which will assist you in the process:

  In regards to Guided Transfer, that depends entirely on your comfort level with both WordPress.com and self-hosted WordPress.org. Some customers find the transfer a breeze, while others think the fee would be cheap at twice the price! It’s all up to you!
