Good analytics software/website/plugin for WordPress.com website?
-
Dear Experts,
My blog is hosted by WordPress: rodgersnotes.wordpress.com
I don’t host on my own domain.I’d like to get more more analytics for my blog.
What I’ve seen so far, seems to only apply if you
have your own domain, not if wordpress hosts your blog.
As I’ve read, Google analytics will not work with a WP.com website. What is a good analytics software, service, website, widget, or plugin that will work with a wordpress.com blog?
Thanks a lot!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There are NO Plugins you can add to a WP.com blog, so let’s get that out of the way right up front.

Thanks for the straight point about the plugins.
Actually, I’m not that impressed with WordPress stats.
Other than that I can go back to a particular day a few
years go.I’ve been using Statcounter.
With Statcounter, I can see every individual hit.
Link, city, country, ISP, browser, time they stayed, etc.
Lots of great reports.Although, with WordPress, they can’t show what the search terms
that were used to get to the webpage, as they can with Blogspot. So, anyone else?
Is there a website that provides some great web analytics, that
you can recommend?Thanks a lot!

you don’t see the search terms from Google because Google encrypts the terms and does not pass the search terms to any web site – you probably see more search terms on Blogger since I think they are owned by Google
Signup for Google Web Master tools – then you can see more search terms – not that friendly to my way of thinking
