good for podcast, text and posting youtubeclips?

  I need something where i can post text, sound (radio stuff i do) and little videoclips.
  is wordpress a good place for this? and what kinda space should i have?
  I also want to have a nice design on my page, how much can i choose myself?
  Can I get more possibilities to decide what my page should look like if I
  buy more space?
