Good forum software to add to wordpress.COM blog?

  I want to add a forum to my wordpress.com site/hub/blog. This setup is basically working out really well and I don’t want to switch to a WP blog hosted on a separate server if I can avoid it.

  Is there anything at all along these lines that is functional?

  Pluses would include: no php required, quick setup. But for starters if any of you can share ANYTHING that meets the basic description that would be awesome. Thanks in advance!

  @aurusit, phpbb cannot be implemented on blogs here at wordpress.COM. It would have to be installed on a web host such as godaddy, bluehost, etc. The links that @auxclass provided host forums on their own servers and then the blog owner here can link to them.

  Not a problem. The differences between what is possible with a self-hosted wordpress blog vs what is possible for blogs hosted here at wordpress.COM is quite substantial. Some of the main differences are explained here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ .

  thesacredpath: true. Some of the .org options are lacking with the .com setup but the latter has run far more smoothly for me. The tech side of it is very low maintenance and I like that. I’ve got more than enough to do without squeezing sysadmin or whatever into my schedule.
