Goodread Widget Not Quite Working
-
I add the widget, only if I select books I am reading, nothing shows up. If I add books I have read, then 4 books show up but not my more recent ones. For example, I have read books about typewriters in the past and I read The Di Vinci Code. Those show up. More recently, I finished Inferno, also by Dan Brown. It does not show up. I have checked and rechecked the settings on the Goodread side and all seems to look right. ???
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @livurtruth,
Here is a tutorial on Goodreads for a bit of reference:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/goodreads-widget/Any time you make changes to the shelf you’ve specified at Goodreads.com, the change will show up automatically in your handy-dandy new sidebar widget. When you go to your Goodreads profile and you review the books you currently have, there is a SETTINGS option where you can adjust how you want your books to display. If you go to your Goodreads profile and look at the books you have read, you should see an option to update SETTINGS. Check to see how the settings are currently configured. That may have something to do with how your books are currently displaying :-)
It may take a little searching to find the Settings link in Goodreads. Keep your eyes out for the following links and you will see Settings:
Batch Edit | Settings | Stats | Print
Sincerely,
Chelsea

Hi
I’m having the problem where the Goodreads widget isn’t showing what’s on my currently reading shelf, but will happily show what I’ve already read.
Publicly on my profile on Goodreads you can see what I’m currently reading so I can’t really see any setting I can change or might be affecting this?
