Goodreads & Facebook Widgets

    Every time I try to add a Goodreads widget on my blog, it doesn’t work. I have followed the instructions provided and am not a Goodreads author. Also, when I add my Facebook Page widget, a link appears but there is nothing visual- i.e. I’ve selected the boxes to show my cover photo etc. but this doesn’t show up in my blog’s footer.

    I understand that you need help in adding a Goodreads widget on your blog thewildlibrary.home.blog.

    Let me just ask, were you able to add also your Goodreads numeric ID?

    The Goodreads numeric ID is required in order for the widget to work correctly. To find your Goodreads numeric ID, you may refer the following steps:

    1. Sign in to your Goodreads.com account.
    2. Go to your profile page by clicking your avatar/profile picture.
    3. Copy your Goodreads numeric ID found in your profile link, like this:
    https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/NUMERIC ID-john-doe
    Note: Only copy the numeric part.
    4. Then paste your numeric ID when you add your Goodreads widget in the Customizer settings.
