Goodreads NOT WORKING

  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Goodreads widget on my website OVER AND OVER for WEEKS now! I’ve followed the directions exactly, it won’t pull ANYTHING up! I am ready to get rid of WordPress for good! This is beyond frustrating.

  I have a book coming out soon and I don’t have time to “wait” for this widget to start working. Nothing I do works. Leaving it alone doesn’t work. Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn’t work. I am at my wit’s end. Help!

  I have followed those instructions many times. I have tried getting my author id while logged into goodreads, while logged out and even checked if my bookshelf had a different number. This has only ever been my author page and the id’s are all the same no matter what I click on. The id is not working with the widget. I really don’t know what to do at this point.

  When we need Staff help with issues Volunteers cannot resolve like this one we type modlook into the sidebar tags on our forum threads. I did that for you.   goodreads.com/author/show/8630300.Madelynn_Belle but it’s looking for the ID you would find here:

  goodreads.com/user/show/—–Madelynn_Belle

  https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/8630300.Madelynn_Belle does not exist & that’s why it’s getting stuck. We don’t currently support an authors widget, but I will file a request to have that added.
